Announcing our sponsorship of University of Nottingham rugby team

We’re thrilled to announce that we are sponsoring the University of Nottingham Rugby Club (UNRUC) Men’s 1XV for the 2021/22 season.

One of the largest student-led rugby clubs in the UK, UNRUC enjoys a national reputation for rugby, attracting performance players who want to balance their rugby development with studying at one of the country’s top universities. The 1st team competes in the BUCS Premiership A (North) league and are looking for promotion this season into BUCS super rugby.

Nic Seal, Founder and MD of Environet said, “We have close links with the University of Nottingham and are delighted to support them as lead sponsor for the new season. These rugby players and Japanese knotweed have rather a lot in common – tough, durable, resilient and hard to beat! I wish the team every success this season.”

Nottingham is a major Japanese knotweed hotspot according to Exposed, our interactive online Japanese knotweed heatmap, with 183 confirmed occurrences within 4 km of the city centre. Led by Regional Director Mat Day, we look forward to growing our profile locally and supporting UNRUC in their efforts to win promotion.

Wishing the team the best of luck!

“We had a large stand of bamboo removed, thinned, contained and replaced. The customer service has been first class. Joe and Jason were fabulous and kept me well informed at all times”.
