Operations Assistant

To support our growth across the UK we are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to act as an Operations Assistant in the Midlands and North region

We are looking for a self-motivated and enthusiastic candidate, with awareness and ability to make a positive impact with prospective and existing customers. Ideally you will live in the Midlands region, enabling you to access the M1, M6 for travelling further afield. Responsibilities include:

1. Assisting the site manager on invasive weed removal including herbicide work and all physical removal workbr/> 2. Provide assistance to Consultants and Regional Directors where requested.
3. Experience in the knotweed industry would be beneficial but is not essential, as you will be provided full training on knotweed and the company’s processes and procedures.
4. You will also be required on occasion to work away from home on other Environet sites across the UK to support other operational managers.

Sales and Marketing Administrator

Location: Send, Woking, Surrey

Contract type: Full Time

Salary: Circa £20-22k, DOE

To support our growth, we are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to act as a Sales and Marketing Administrator to support the national team, based at the company’s Head Office in Send, Surrey.

We are looking for a self-motivated and enthusiastic candidate, with excellent verbal and written communication skills to join our team of sales and marketing staff. You must be a confident Microsoft Office user, and have a sound working knowledge of social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram. Full training will be provided. Responsibilities include:

1. Answering incoming telephone calls and directing to the appropriate person as required.
2. Completing enquiry forms on the company’s database and allocating enquiries as appropriate.
3. Providing advice to prospective residential customers, with the aim of securing a sale for a residential survey/management plan.
4. Providing basic technical and administrative support to existing clients, including but not necessarily limited to, taking payments over the phone, and checking the status of projects.
5. Booking surveys for our Invasive Plant Consultants.
6. Offering administrative support across the organisation and undertaking general office duties.
7. Uploading blogs and make basic changes to Environet’s webpage.
8. Designing and creating content using Canva for Environet’s Social Media platforms in accordance with the content plan.
9. To maintain, grow and improve our database of photographic and video assets to make sure marketing work is not constrained due to a shortage of quality content.
10. Assisting with marketing initiatives as required e.g. email campaigns, data collection, market research, materials and content.

Sales Consultant (Midlands/North Area)

Location: Midlands/North Area

Salary: Circa £25,000-30,000k, DOE

To support our growth across the country, we are looking for a self-motivated and dynamic individual to fill the new role of Sales Consultant to cover the Midlands and North area.

Ideally you will live in the Midlands region, enabling you to access the M1, M6 for travelling further afield. You will need to be comfortable with working from home with the occasional journey for training and meetings at our Head Office in Send, Surrey.

The consultant reports to and is accountable to the Regional Director. The role is to provide technical sales advice as necessary to customers and prospective customers but to also sell the company’s services. Their roles and responsibilities include but are not necessarily limited to: · Carrying out paid residential surveys, preparing and submitting Management Plans · Where suitably qualified, to carry out commercial surveys, to meet clients on site, to advise on the treatment options, and to prepare sales proposals which include technical recommendations with costings · Following up all sales proposals in a timely fashion with the aim of securing instructions for the treatment/ removal work · Assist the Regional Director with marketing initiatives as required e.g. delivering webinars, networking events, etc. · Assist the Regional Director to build relationships with professional advisors, such as solicitors, surveyors and estate agents, as well as existing and potential clients to develop repeat/referral business.

Associate - PAYE or Sub-contract basis

We are looking for associates to work alongside our existing team on a part-time basis to herbicide treat Japanese knotweed for our clients throughout the UK. Most of this work will be during the knotweed growing season, May to October inclusive.

Ideally you will have a background in a related industry, such as landscaping, horticulture, gardening or grounds maintenance.  You will be allocated a territory on a non-exclusive basis, meaning most of the projects allocated to you will be within 50 miles of your base.

Opportunities also exist to work on a day-rate basis with our Operations Team on physical removal projects. These projects can be carried out at any time of year and typically get completed in 2-3 days.

We are looking for candidates with the following;

  • NPTC PA1 and PA6aw competency certificates for application of herbicide.
  • A CSCS card or equivalent health and safety training. 
  • Good communication skills.
  • Full UK driving license and your own vehicle.

Experience of treating Japanese knotweed is not essential as you will be provided with in-house training.
