Having recently graduated with an MSc from the University of Reading in Environmental Management I was recruited by Environet UK in 2014 to help with the eradication of Japanese knotweed from residential and commercial properties. I graduated from my undergraduate degree in 2011 and immediately started working in the Events Team for The London Organising Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic games, also known as LOCOG. Whilst at LOCOG I found that I enjoyed splitting my working time between the office and on site and wished for my future jobs to provide this. Here at Environet UK I undertake surveys and Japanese knotweed removal in the field whilst being able to work at the office when it is cold and wet.

Most of my spare time is dedicated cycling in some aspect, whether that be on the road, velodrome or in the forest. However, my main pursuit within cycling is time trialling on the road in which I compete in on a weekly basis. I ride for a club in East London and had a successful last season in being part of the best team in the London East district and also in a South East league, in which I placed 6th overall individually. Other than cycling I enjoy watching a vast range of sports, particularly Formula One and visiting wildlife reserves whilst trying to improve my bird identification skills.
