Environet launches third enhanced version of its Xtract™ machine for rapid removal of Japanese knotweed

Xtract Version 3 for Japanese knotweed removal

Environet has enhanced their patented Xtract™ machine.

We have launched the third version, ensuring the rapid and reliable removal of Japanese knotweed from development and construction sites. This new machine substantially increases operational capabilities, reduces on site set up time and increases the process flow rate.

The new version took 4 months to design and build offering further enhancements to improve the Xtract™ process such as the addition of caterpillar tracks for better manoeuvrability on site, its own power pack consisting of an in built diesel engine plus hydraulic operation of conveyors and screening parts.

Last week, Nic Seal, our MD, took delivery of the new machine at a site in Putney, South West London owned by Transport for London (TfL). The project was monitored by international environmental consultants, SLR Group, with Environet successfully completing the removal of Japanese knotweed rhizome from the soil in less than 10 days so redevelopment of the site can now commence.

Following completion of the Putney project, the new Xtract™ machine was then dispatched to another site to be included in an ITN Productions film. Once released Environet will publish the film on their website.

If you have a requirement for Japanese knotweed removal from a commercial site then please give Environet a call on 01932 868700 to discuss in more detail.

“We had a large stand of bamboo removed, thinned, contained and replaced. The customer service has been first class. Joe and Jason were fabulous and kept me well informed at all times”.
