During the main bulletins Environet were featured exclusively in a piece entitled "Knotweed Trials".

In the interview the BBC Environment Correspondent Yvette Austin explains the issue with knotweed and then covers why Environet acquired the land. Nic goes on to explain that the area is to be used for field trials after extensive research in the lab to develop and improve the methods currently used.

The evening piece also included an interview with a resident living close to the site.
