Nic’s book promotions pick up pace!

It’s been a whirlwind November of book promotions for our MD Nic Seal, following the publication of his definitive guide to knotweed, ‘Japanese Knotweed: Unearthing the Truth’ this summer.

We’re delighted to say that the book has generated a huge amount of interest from gardeners, homeowners and people generally wanting to arm themselves with the facts about knotweed.

The Royal Horticultural Society’s own magazine, The Garden, included a review in their December issue and following that the RHS has decided to stock it in their own online bookshop, making it even easier for keen gardeners and horticulturalists to learn all they need to know about the UK’s most invasive plant.

Following his appearance at Guildford Book Festival, Nic was also invited to give the November lecture to the Surrey Horticultural Progress Club at the RHS’s prestigious flagship garden at Wisley, at the end of last month.

One member of the audience commented, “What a speaker! For those in the horticultural world, Japanese knotweed is an intriguing subject. Is it a menace? How best do we treat it? And what is it just such a problem in its native land? With a lively and engaging manner, Nic’s talk answered all these questions and more, to a packed house. We even ran out of chairs!”

We agree the talk was a great success and it was a useful opportunity to converse with the club’s members and answer all their knotweed-related questions.

We’re also working with a number of gardening, property and lifestyle bloggers to promote the book to consumer audiences and help educate people about the risks around knotweed and how to deal with it, so watch this space!

“We had a large stand of bamboo removed, thinned, contained and replaced. The customer service has been first class. Joe and Jason were fabulous and kept me well informed at all times”.
