I’m so pleased to announce today that the ownership of Environet UK Ltd has been transferred to our employees.
This is in recognition of all the hard work put in by them over the years and to ensure that the company prospers in the future for the benefit of both our customers and staff.
I, along with my team, have grown Environet from a start-up in 1996 to become the UK’s foremost authority on Japanese knotweed and invasive plants. We want it to keep growing (the company that is!) flying the flag for sustainability and innovation, and to become even more successful and productive.
Because our staff now have a stake in the business, they will be rightfully rewarded for their efforts and be more committed and engaged than ever – and motivated to do an even better job for you, the customer.
I will remain as Managing Director for the foreseeable future, so in many respects nothing changes. It’s an exciting time for us at Environet; despite Covid-19 our enquiries and order book are at an all-time high and our new Japanese knotweed detection dogs add a valuable new dimension to our services. I have no doubt that under its new structure the business will thrive.
May I take this opportunity to also thank all our customers and we look forward to continuing to serve you for the next twenty-five years and beyond.
Nic Seal, Founder and Managing Director
